Food Warming Mat Safety Tips

Essential safety precautions to protect yourself, your family, and your property when using a food warming mat.

Important: Failure to follow these safety warnings may lead to electric shock, burns, fire hazards, or property damage. Please read carefully before using your warming mat for food.

⚠️ Critical Warning: Prevent Death or Serious Injury

Do Not Touch With Wet Hands

Never touch the warming mat panel or insert/unplug the power cord with wet hands. This creates serious risk of electric shock or injury. Always ensure your hands are completely dry before handling any electrical components of your food warming mat.

Avoid Burns From Hot Surface

During operation and for up to 15 minutes after removing dishes, the surface temperature of the warming mat insulation area may be very high. Do not touch the heating surface to prevent serious burns. Always allow the warming mat for food to cool completely before handling.

Keep Away From Flammable Items

Keep the warming mat at least 1.5 meters (5 feet) away from curtains, drapes, paper, cloth, or other flammable materials to prevent fire risk. Never place any paper, aluminum foil, or fabric on the panel during operation. Ensure adequate clearance around your food warming mat at all times.

Keep Away From Children

Keep the warming mat out of reach of infants and toddlers to prevent risks such as electric shock and burns. This product is not designed for use by unattended children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities. Always supervise when using a warming mat for food around children.

Never Use on Metal Countertops

It is strictly forbidden to use the warming mat directly on a metal countertop to avoid overheating and potential danger. Only use on heat-resistant surfaces. If you must use on non-heat-resistant surfaces, place a heat-resistant pad underneath the food warming mat to prevent cracking or damage.

Keep Away From Water

Ensure the warming mat is kept at least 1.5 meters away from water sources, whether in use or idle. When using outdoors, be extremely careful not to let the control panel and power cord come into contact with water. Water contact can cause electric shock or damage your food warming mat.

Do Not Modify or Repair Yourself

Do not modify the warming mat yourself or attempt DIY repairs. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced with a dedicated cord or component obtained from the manufacturer or authorized service department.

⚠️ Caution: Minor Injury or Property Damage

No Metallic Objects on Surface

Do not place metallic objects (knives, forks, spoons, lids) on the warming mat surface, as they may become extremely hot and cause burns or damage.

No Sealed Containers

Do not place sealed containers or pressurized food (cans, pressure cookers) directly on the warming mat, as thermal expansion may cause dangerous accidents or explosions.

If Mat Surface Cracks

If you notice any cracks in the warming mat surface, turn off the product immediately and unplug it to prevent electric shock risk. Do not continue using a damaged warming mat for food.

Avoid Heavy Pressure or Scratches

Do not apply heavy pressure or create sharp scratches on the mat surface, as this may damage the heating elements and reduce performance or create safety hazards.

Unplug Before Cleaning

When cleaning the warming mat, always disconnect the 110V power supply first and separate the touch panel from the heating panel. Allow at least 15 minutes for cooling before cleaning.

Keep Surface Clean

The surface of the warming mat must be kept clean to prevent discoloration or damage. Do not cover the mat or touch it while heating. Avoid using bleach, diluents, toluene, acidic cleaners, lamp oil, alcohol, or chemical reagents.
